Rocky Mountain Regatta

The HLMYC hosts the Rocky Mountain Regatta (RMR), is an annual American Model Yachting Association (AMYA) sanctioned Green Chevron regatta for both ODOM and Victoria class boats. Visit our RMR webpage for more information about this event.





Harper Lake Circumnavigation

Another annual event hosted by the HLMYC is the Circumnavigate Harper Lake Regatta. This event is open to all classes of model yacht, and to all AMYA skippers regardless of club affilation. Skippers from the Denver Area Model Yachting Association (DAMYA) and the Broomfield MYC have often been our guests for this fun day event in which the boats complete two or more circumnavigations of the lake.


2007 ODOM National Championship

Harper Lake Model Yacht Club was selected by the AMYA to host the 2007 ODOM National Championship Regatta. This event was held September 7-9, 2007 at Harper Lake in Louisville, Colorado.

The event attracted participating skippers from several states who enjoyed a full weekend of activies and our great venue of weed-free water, good wind, Boulder/Louisville and the surrounding Rocky Mountains, and our "Colorado Mile High Hospitality".

2003 Region 5 Victoria Championship

2003 Victoria Region 5 Regatta Picture
Harper Lake Model Yacht Club hosted the 2003 Victoria Region 5 Championships, June 14 & 15, 2003. Skippers from several of the Region V areas enjoyed a full weekend of activities that included a practice session on Friday evening, sailing on both Saturday and Sunday, and an informal dinner on Saturday night.
